Thoughtfully Gifted: Gratitude Extravaganza

Thoughtfully Gifted: Gratitude Extravaganza | short story about handmade thank you card | Thoughtfully Handmade

It's always lovely to show work colleagues, school teachers, or even neighbours how much we appreciate them.

But it can be a lot of money buying gifts for all of these different people. Why not try a handmade thank you card with a personal message that truly tells them how much they're appreciated? So that's what Harleen did.

It was the end of July- barbeques, dinner parties and festivals were happening all summer long, and Harleen was invited to them all. It was Monday, and Harleen’s colleague, Jason, asked her to attend a barbeque which his family was hosting that weekend. Harleen didn’t know Jason too well, but she still wanted to get him something to demonstrate her gratitude. Besides, it would be rude not to bring the host a gift!

The next day, Harleen realized that she had a school function to attend for her master’s program. She wanted to do something thoughtful for her professors since they have helped her so much throughout the year. Now, Harleen has to find a professional but personal gift in addition to a host gift for Jason.

On Friday, Harleen was invited to yet another dinner party by her neighbours for next weekend. Frustrated but excited, Harleen now had three thank you gifts to find on a limited budget.

Through the power of Instagram and Pinterest, Harleen realized that a thank you card paired with an affordable bottle of wine was the way to go. Narrowing her search, Harleen came across this thank you card called Spring:

It was perfect for her professor and her neighbour! Harleen decided to click through to the website to see if there was a more appropriate card for Jason. Luckily, there was!

Jason didn’t like florals, but he is obsessed with stars, that much she knew. That’s why Harleen knew that the pink Gratitude Bonanza card was the one for him.

Harleen quickly placed an order for the three cards, and they came just in time for her first event- the barbeque! She already had a couple bottles of wine on hand from her mom, so she grabbed a bottle, wrote a little thank you note for Jason inside of the card and left for the event. Jason loved it!

Harleen received the same reactions from her professor and her neighbours too. Crisis adverted!
