Thoughtfully Gifted: End-of-school-year Craze

Thoughtfully Gifted: End-of-school-year Craze | Thoughtfully Handmade

The end of June signified the end of the school year, the start of summer vacation and the time to thank her children’s teachers for all their hard work. The only problem? Jade didn’t know what to get them.

Mr. Jacobs and Ms. Chen has taught her children all year long. Not only did her kids’ reading skills improve, but their behaviour has as well. Jade was so thankful that Mr. Jacobs and Ms. Chen are her children’s teachers.

Unfortunately, Jade only had the time to go to parent-teacher interviews, meaning Jade doesn’t know them that well. However, she still wanted to give them a thoughtful and personal gift.

So, Jade went on Pinterest and started to search. Keyword, after keyword and she wasn’t able to find anything appropriate. Luckily, Jade stumbled upon Thoughtfully Handmade’s Gift Ideas board. On it, she saw this pin:

Gratitude Bonanza | navy blue and pink variant | handmade thank you card for teachers | pink tag, with much gratitude sentiment | navy and gold stars background | Thoughtfully Gifted: End-of-school-year Craze | Thoughtfully Handmade

She loved the gorgeous pink thank you card! She continued scrolling through the board and happened upon this image:

Belle of the Ball & Kaleidoscope of Colours | Limes & black tag variant card | handmade Mother's Day card card & handmade bookmark with tassel | black tag, best mom sentiment, limes & cream background | light wood background with blue sign at bottom, brown tassel | Thoughtfully Gifted: End-of-school-year Craze | Thoughtfully Handmade

The bookmark would be a great gift for Mr. Jacobs and Ms. Chen. As teachers, they must need page markers. And what better way than handmade bookmarks?

Jade clicked on the images, and it took her to the website to order. She realized that the owner was selling at a market the next week. Jade quickly contacted the owner, Yandy and asked if she can pick up her order there, and Yandy agreed!. Crisis averted!

When the cards arrived, Jade wrote personal thank you messages for the teachers inside.

Fast forward a couple weeks, and it was time to give Mr. Jacobs and Ms. Chen their gifts. They loved it!
