Thoughtfully Gifted: Anniversary Anxiety

Thoughtfully Gifted: Anniversary Anxiety | Thoughtfully Handmade

Five blissful years with her boyfriend, Alex (now fiancé) and next month is their anniversary. Charlie wants to do something special and give a thoughtful gift to Alex. But, guys are notoriously hard to shop for. With only 4 weeks left, Charlie is panicking.

How is she going to find a gift in such a short amount of time?

One weekend while Charlie was downtown, looking for a present, she happens upon a farmers market. Feeling inspired, Charlie decides to take a look. Just her luck, there was a handmade market event going on.

Charlie loves to support local businesses, and she needed a gift ASAP. A cool planter display catches her eye. The planter is gorgeous! She decides to buy it because Alex is a dedicated plant dad. They had plants everywhere!

However, Charlie felt that the gift wasn’t complete, so she continued to browse. Next, she sees a handmade card display by a business called Thoughtfully Handmade. A card called Anniversary Bonanza caught her eye:

It was a perfect way for her to finish the gift. What better way to show Alex her love and appreciation than writing it all down in a handmade card?

After purchasing the card, Charlie decides to head home.

The day of their 5th anniversary, Charlie gives Alex her present after Alex gave her his. Funnily enough, Charlie received the same card!

Alex had been to the same market the day before and gotten it for Charlie. Alex loved his gift too. Now he has an excuse to buy another plant!

A year later and Alex and Charlie still keep their cards on display. That's the power of a handmade card!
