5 Things to Give: 2018 Gift Guide

5 Things to Give: 2018 Gift Guide | Thoughtfully Handmade

Since the holidays are quickly approaching, you probably need some last minute gift idea inspiration to lift you out of that gift giving rut. If you celebrate Hanukkah, I am way too late... Sorry about that!

Each idea has an expensive and inexpensive version so you can pick one that suits your needs.

An inexpensive but beautiful gift, any book lover will surely love to receive one!

Of course, you can buy my Galaxy Away, Kaleidoscope of Colours and Watercolour Madness bookmarks on my website for $4 each.

But, I also found these personalized leather bookmarks for $17 from an Etsy store called Northwind Supply.

Handmade card

Of course, I had to include a handmade card! These are fabulous for times when you need a personal and thoughtful gift, but you don’t know the recipient that well!

All of my cards are only $5, making them the inexpensive version.

There is a cute store on Etsy called Nicoliferd who does custom family portrait cards, and they are gorgeous! For around $24, you get a digital file that you can then get it printed on EVERYTHING! Read more about his process here.

RFID envelopes

These envelopes from Bentley’s are a money saver! They protect you from unauthorized reads and identity theft. So, for only $5 for a pack of 4 envelopes, it is worth it! Plus, everyone needs these so you can’t go wrong.

If you have more than 4 cards to protect, may I suggest an RFID wallet? This one from Amazon for $27 is pretty good, according to the reviews.

KnockKnock notepad

I love my notepads from KnockKnock! This todo list helps me prioritize my tasks of the day, and this yellow one helps me plan out my meals in advance. Such lifesavers and a perfect gift for any busy people.

You can get both from Indigo. The todo list pad is $9, and the meal plan pad is $7.50.

Saje products

These are the most expensive gift ideas on the list, but they are worth every cent. I suffer from chronic migraines, and their Peppermint Halo wand has saved me multiple times.

The wand itself is $27 but if you want the headache relief kit (includes the peppermint halo wand and rollerball, and a stress release mist) it is $40.

I hope these gift ideas help! For even more gift inspiration, head over to shoplocalcanada.ca as they’ve got one for every person!

If you know what you want already but don’t know where to go, consider shopping from independent and local businesses! The Trinity Bellwoods Flea market is next Sunday. So many vendors will have cool gifts that you can purchase as well!

In case you need a shopping list, pin the infographic below for easy access!
