Why Choose Thoughtfully Handmade
Since 2016, I’ve strived to provide unique, personalized greeting cards and bookmarks that are adjustable, affordable and adorable. I chose to start my own business because I was (and still am) sick and tired of the impersonal, mass-produced cards in the market today, among 5 other reasons.
Whenever I’ve received one of those cards, I’ve felt like no effort was put in by the giver. Even if they took an hour to choose the perfect one, it still felt like they left it to the last minute.
Do you feel the same? If so, the solution is simple. Don’t buy from them!
How does that help?
Well, all of my products are made by hand, by me. Hours of hard work are put into each and single card and bookmark. Do you honestly believe cards from Hallmark or Dollarama took that much time and effort to make?
By buying one of my cards, not only are you supporting a small business and a crafter, but you are also supporting Seniors With Skills . Ten cents from every card and bookmark that I sell will be going towards their operational costs. Running a non-profit takes a lot of resources and I want to help my community in any way that I can- especially one that helps seniors use their skills for the greater good.
I am also dedicated to spreading positivity. It's another reason Thoughtfully Handmade exists. What better way to spread positivity than with cards? I mean, you don’t give someone a card for a negative reason, right?
Of course not! You give a card to wish someone a ‘happy birthday’, to show your gratitude or to congratulate someone.
Help me spread positivity and empowering small businesses by buying a card on my website today.

Everything started in Careers class...
While the teacher was not the greatest, he did one thing that changed my life forever. He pushed everyone to apply for Summer Company, an entrepreneurship program hosted by the government of Ontario.
How did I get in? Read "How I Got in to Summer Company".
At the young age of 16, I had a lot of ambition, drive and a creative spirit. Plus I really wanted that bonus mark. So, I applied for the program at Ryerson University. Little did I know that my life was going to get very interesting. Long story short, I started Thoughtfully Handmade during the summer of grade 10 (2016).
Beyond card-making, I play the clarinet, am a third-degree black belt, enjoy bullet journaling (yes, that is a hobby) and practice calligraphy. I've acquired my wanderlust from my mom and have been on numerous adventures, with the most recent being Costa Rica. I also speak several languages such as English (duh), Mandarin, French and Spanish (although I am still learning the last two).
